Testing frequency, based on IET guidelines, can be up to five years, and new items are exempt. Only competent individuals with approved training and calibrated equipment conduct the tests. Typically, inspecting and testing up to 12 items takes about 60 minutes, covered by a flat-rate fee suitable for most furnished rentals.
